2021-22 Season Tryout is here!

Dear NSBBC families,

It is with great excitement NSBBC is announcing we will be hosting tryouts for grades 6^th, 7^th, & 8^th only this season, due to limited gym space and coaching resources.  We are allowing 5^th graders who are interested to compete for a spot on the 6^th grade team.  We will not be fielding a 5^th grade team

The goal of NSBBC is to build a program where all players are given the chance to compete and get better, and while we have limited space, we are exploring our options.

Based on tryout results & interest, NSBBC is considering an in-house training program for players not assigned to a team and are in 5^th – 8^th grade.  This program will be organized and run by NSBBC and one of our coaches on the same night as our ETL teams.

This aligns with our focus of “One Team, One Family” and provides an opportunity to bring players along with the existing teams and offer call up opportunities to league play when situations call for it.

 

Tryout Details:

Cost:  $15 (If your currently enrolled in the Mon/Wed training your fee has been collected already)

Key Points:

• Parents will not be allowed in the gym for tryouts due to school COVID policy
• Masks will be required for participation
• Players to bring their own basketball
• Parent approval to take players picture for accurate assessment

Dates:

Monday 10/18

6:00PM – 7:30PM (6th Grade)

7:30PM – 9:00PM (7th – 8th Grades)

Wednesday 10/20

6:00PM – 7:30PM (6th Grade)

7:30PM – 9:00PM (7th – 8th Grades)

Location: Tillicum MS for both days

Saturday 10/23 Team Invitations:

Acceptance must be made within 24 hours so we can offer spots to the next player if you chose not to play.

Tournaments TBD: Due to the uncertainty of COVID many of the tournaments have yet to come together.  We will announce tournaments as they materialize and decided on our participation.
